I’m Kianna Mkhonza, a Publications student at OCAD University. I’m a multidisciplinary designer focusing on books (covers and interiors) in both their print and digital formats. My work also includes arts such as collage and found poetry. Most recently I designed and executed the 2023 Ottawa International Animation Festival program guide, and designed a chapbook for End of the Line Press, a new independent press in Toronto that aims to platform trans voices. Currently working on finishing my undergraduate degree, though, in the meantime, I want to keep working on publishing projects that amplify queer and neurodivergent voices and perspectives. I am based in a suburb of the GTA, though can often be found working from anywhere in the world—next being the Catskill Mountains over the holidays.

* The site title "yellowlog" comes from the painting The Yellow Log  by  Edvard Munch. It's a lovely painting, capturing a chopped log in a winter forest.
